Safe Investing SA is the space to educate and inspire which is run by a mother-son duo, Mbini Kutta and Aka Mathye. We find and share ways on lifestyle, building wealth, financial freedom, success in career and comfortable retirement. We are especially passionate about a debt-free lifestyle.

Mbini Kutta

Mbini Kutta, the founder, started the platform in 2011. Mbini is an economist and a qualified financial planner. Her dream has always been educating young people on wealth creation and financial independence. Other than mortgages, Mbini never had debt and started her investing journey in her 20s. Her assets enabled her to leave the workplace in her early 40s.

Hiringa financial advisor in 2004 was the beginning of who she has become on the personal finance front. Mbini is also qualified to empower on financial freedom because she has started her journey from negative in a middle income country.

Mbini specialises in wealth creation and educating on building career capital and mastering the economic system. Her favourite saying is that; "those who do not master the economic system work the hardest".  

Aka Mathye

Aka Mathye is a 19-year-old investor who holds an IB  (International Baccalaureate®) Diploma. 

As a life long personal finance learner, Aka offers a point of view from a perspective that cannot be easily replicated by anyone older than him. This makes his content digestible by young and creative minds trying to find their feet in life. If a young person has already found their feet, they may still be able to find Aka’s blog entries useful or interesting as well as any member of the previous generation.
